Prof. Dr. Didem Dinçer Rota was born in Ankara. She began her medical education at Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and graduated in 2000 with the title of Medical Doctor. Between 2001 and 2005, she completed her residency at Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) and served as a specialist doctor at GATA until 2014. In 2014, she received training in phototherapy in Italy and subsequently started her position as an assistant professor at Ufuk University. Faculty of Medicine in the same year. She achieved the title of associate professor in 2016 and became a full professor in 2021.
In addition to her work at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine, she served as a part-time dermatology specialist at HRS Hospital from 2014 to 2018 and at Lösante Hospital from 2015 to 2018. She currently continues her academic work as the Head of the Department of Dermatology at Ufuk University Dr. Rıdvan Ege Hospital. She has numerous publications and articles in national and international journals.
Research and Interests: Cosmetic Dermatology (Botox, fillers, laser, mesotherapy, etc.), Dermatologic Surgery, Hair and Nail Diseases, Psoriasis, and Behçet’s Disease.
Prof. Dr. Didem Dinçer Rota is a member of scientific associations such as the Turkish Dermatology Association, Ankara Dermatology Association, Dermatologic Surgery Association, and EADV. She is married and has one child.
